Rabih Dabboussi

Senior Vice President - Sales, Marketing & Business Development

 

Rabih Dabboussi is the Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development at DarkMatter Group. He is responsible for driving the company’s expansion strategy, overseeing business development and sales functions, and coordinating the go-to-market strategies across key industries. He also leads the Group’s marketing
and communications functions, ensuring that the business objectives align with the Group’s overall strategy.

Rabih has over 22 years of industry experience developing expertise in digitisation, IP connectivity, security, Smart Cities, and the Internet of Things Prior to joining DarkMatter Group, Rabih was the Managing Director of Cisco where he played a key role in driving their Smart City strategy in the UAE and the wider Middle East region. Rabih also led Cisco’s engineering organisation in emerging markets as well as the company’s Strategic Accounts business and Service Provider segment.

Before moving to the UAE, he built and led a consultancy team in the US that facilitated the growth of Cisco’s mobile business worldwide, introducing a number of new products and technologies as the mobile world embraced IP and the internet. Rabih served as a software engineer in Cisco’s R&D organization as the company built its flagship SP core routing platforms. In that role, Rabih introduced multiple products in the mobile space most notably the first commercial GGSN and the first SIGTRAN based STP for SS7/IP. During his role as a lead architect in the mobile business unit, he was awarded the company’s prestigious “pioneer award” in 2003. Rabih also holds several US technology patents in his name.

Rabih has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, USA.
